Why is it not possible to save the art?
Are you against people enjoying the art?
I only saw one painting which looked interesting, but as soon as I
noticed I was unable to save it I decided not to bother with the rest.
Don't put your art online if you don't want it distributed!

Besides, anyone with a little computer knowledge can save the pictures
anyway by exploring the source of your webpage.
For instance, when I read the source, I can find the direct link to a
picture:

So I can save it anyway.
Effectively you're just preventing people who are not knowledgable to
save your pictures while anyone with a little computer knowledge can
save the pics anyway, but just with a little more hassle.

I liked your work. I really like the site too.
The images were very well done, maybe "clean" to a fault. And I wonder how
they'd look with a bit more of that Dali strangeness. Just a thought.
The other poster raises an interesting point about the availability of art
work over the web. It certainly challenges most traditional views of
ownership. I see some artwork with watermarks, but I think a low resolution
copy works too. Regardless, people are going to end up with your art if you
post it on the web.
