Hello all,

This little message because i 'm driving to despair

I'm beginner in watercolour. I can paint sky, water, lakes, houses,
.. almost all, but i don't manage to paint trees, foliages, ....,
hedges, shrubs, ...
I'm not going anyway to resign watercolour because i don't manage to
paint trees.
One painting on two is a waste because i waste tree. And a painting
without a tree is not to consider.

Is there not a easy tips, a easy way to paint tree(s) ?
Has someone meet the same problem as me and has found a solution ?

thanx in advance for a help.
Richard

I sometimes use a 3/4k" flat watercolor brush for trees. I pat the paper
with the flat side of the brush. The end of the brush makes a broken pattern
and the heel of the brush is like a small wash, so I have the end at the
outside edge of the tree and the heel where the foliage is more dense. You
can also use a small natural sponge, pressing it into the color on the
palette and then tapping; it in a few places over a basic tree shape. Don't
overdo this, though.
