estate of Jim O'Donnell, founder of the Stutz Motor Car Co. in 1968.
This print was a gift from Andrew Wyeth to Jim. Andrew and wife Betty
each owned one of the Stutz Custom Cars in the early 80's and one still
remains in their New England home.

157 ORNATE SWORD: Identified by an historian as a "Paukwaffen", used
in the German sport of "Mensur." Comprises a partially decorated flat
blade and a large, round metal guard retaining most of its original
exterior red, black and gold colored felt. Single metal bracket with
two opposing mounts at end of handle suggests it was designed for left
or right hand compatibility. Red felt inside guard. Probably 19th
Century. Blade: 34 1/4" X approx. 1/2". Guard: 7" X 6" X 9". Est.:
