1983, the first year that the US lost the cup to Australia! "Liberty" and
"Australia II", what a race, what hype! Noone knew what the secretive
Australians were doing. We couldn't even see the sailing ship, it wasn't
allowed, the ship was kept under wraps. This Poster had to be painted by the
artist after researching any available design information and it was completed
only 3 days before the race. Of course, the Australians won this time. This is
the Official Poster of the America's Cup, 1983 from Mystic Seaport Museum
Stores. A great piece of Sailing History. The poster is framed in red and under
glass. Condition is excellent. Buyer pays $20 shipping which includes
insurance. Check or money order accepted but check has to clear.
