The painting is about 40 x 50 inches, oil and collage. The artist is Yutaka
Ohashi, who left Japan to pursue painting abstract expressionist art here in
the USA, where it was more accepted. Original Alan Stone gallery label on
the back - they sold it for $1000 back in 1961. In superb condition and
with excellent provenance. You can go to eBay and do a seller search for
nju1 You will be able to see the work, info. on the artist, the gallery
label, and a detail photo. Minimum bid is a ridiculously low $599. The
auction ends in a few days.
