I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how I can tell if I
have an original painting by Daniel Sherrin, it is called Budding
Spring, I have looked closely with a magnifying glass & can see that it
is on canvas & not paper, it was left to me by my father in law who
recently passed away, before that it belonged to a relative who passed
away in 1984, she was in her late 80's, her husband was an avid art
collector, I have searched all over the internet, but I can't find any
prints for sale of this painting, or any reference to the title?
it would be grate if someone could shed some light on this for me,
thanks in advance, Pat

hi. i bought a D. Sherrin print in an antique store in Tunbridge
Wells, Kent, England a few months ago, and I love it. I know nothing
about it, and have been trying to find out what it is called. I have
read about a painting by him called Budding Spring, which I have read
is quite famous. Perhaps this is the print that I have, and perhaps
you have the original. What does yours look like? Mine is a wooded
scene, with patches of bluebells, and a cottage in the far distance.
I'd be pleased to know if this bears any similarity to yours. I'm
afraid I cannot comment on whether or not yours in truly the
oriiginal. Hope to hear from you.
