"The Blue Dress" (Francois Gall, 1912-1987). This framed, 11 ½
X 13 ½ oil painting is of a young girl sitting at a vanity adjusting
her blouse. There is a small vase with flowers reflected in the
mirror. It is entitled "The Blue Dress," and was originally
purchased at Findlay Galleries in Chicago. It is appropriately
framed to a size of 15 ½ X 17 ½. A well known Washington
D.C.area auction house recently estimated this painting's value at
$3,000 to $4,000.
