Conni Tögel was born in 1965 in Winfield, Illinois, USA as daughter of German immigrants. At an early age, she moved to Germany in Europe. In 1993, she graduated from the Kolping College of Applied Graphics in Stuttgart, Germany. As a well known graphic designer in Germany, she designed magazines, logos, signs, catalogs, ads, corporate identity packages, web-sites and multi-media projects.
Conni's drawings, oil and watercolor paintings have been published in several magazines and are found in collections around the world. Her works are famous for her abstractions of middle eastern cities; close-ups of flowers, fruits and leaves; portraits of nature including seaviews and landscapes of Colorado and Germany; and a wide range of memorable fairytale creatures. Less known and harder to find are her cubist interpretations of realism. Conni Tögel moved back to the USA in 1995. She now lives, works and teaches design & calligraphy in the Pikes Peak Region of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Conni Tögel is an Associate Member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society and a listed artist on the American artists reference website AskART.com.
