Actually, I believe this newsgroup covers studio art (fine arts and
design) as opposed to art history, so you may not be getting answers
because the people who frequent this newsgroup are not necessarily
informed about art history. Perhaps there is an art history related
newsgroup??

Off the top of my head, I would suggest looking into NYU, Harvard,
Columbia, and almost any other well-known, lartge university, plus
Williams College and the like.
