No AT&T did not delete anything, they cut off access or started censoring
your information... What they did, is cutting costs, they could care less
what you view they are only looking at the bottom line...
The Attorney General of New York, decided that child porn was suddenly bad,
and raised a few headlines about chasing down the perpetrators. I have
read there were about 60 newsgroups in the alt.binaries used as advertising
media for the child porn websites.
But he attacked the usenet, rather than setting up a watchdog group, and
attacking the websites where the child porn is hosted... But some ISPs in
America used the Child Porn excuse to improve their bottom line cutting
back on service... It appears the www child porn promoters got off free,
and every one knows the child porn vendors will find another advertising
venue to propmote their perversion which is hosted on the www not the
usenet.
Another short sited example of the American Corporations improve the bottom
line by cutting back on service, Censoring what their customers are
allowed to experience, seems like the Iron Fist in China!
Yes, tis another sad day in America... Pay more for less service and allow
censorship to change our way of life...
