re: August 09 2012 posts to :alt.usenet.kooks,24hoursupport.helpdesk,news.admin.net-abuse.usenet

There are those that will follow the posts in alt.usenet.kooks on the 9th August 2012
to conclude the exchanges are just more noise between two or more "trolls".
Please take the time to reassess that opinion after reading the information I publish
on those conversations.

The exchanges are far from random noise, it _is_ a deliberate and planned exercise in
demonstrating what I believe "Phoenix/Alien" has used as a strategy in formulating
posts within alt.usenet.kooks for many months.
All to the purpose of "outing" posters he chooses to target.
There will be those who genuinely would want to raise points with my explanation,
as, with language differences and limited resources in text, I may have omitted a
lot of context, for some readers. I am quite happy, only too happy, to enter into
a discussion which would clarify a seen illogical point.
I will not, and be very clear on this, I will not enter into debate as to whether
I am "right or wrong" about the facts I put in this post. There will be no expansion
entertained by myself of any of the issues raised in the post.
For those who find the whole of the post well beyond their skill set yet feel they
should be accepting my recommendation (I supply) I suggest they consult with
a person who owns the Usenet skills to set out an explanation way more illuminating
than mine.

There are two strings played in "the game", the main game and an ancillary "distraction".
The relevant string is set out plainly with the flow included. the other string I have
provided the MIDs for, as an addendum.

When I first uncovered the post below, buried in a "phlatass" post as a reference
read, it was akin to a whole new horizon opening. Suddenly a lot of confusing switches
between performances of Paul G Derbyshire became crystal clear.
I trust there are those reading alt.usenet.kooks (as old hands) who, when leaving aside
the foul language and "in your face" contrived brusqueness of "Phoenix/Alien", will
recognize the pattern described by Kaz Kylheku.

Paul G Derbyshire is at this time using "Series Expansion <serexp1 @ gmail.com> as an alias.

##Not really. The above is the behavior of the Seamus MacRae identity.

##This one works slightly differently. It accepts those facts, but then it

##The game plan is obvious: treat the debate as a game of chess, in which
##the only information content is the current configuration of the board,
##your color, whose turn it is, and the set of legal moves.
##
##In making your next move, heuristics is fair game. Sacrificing truth
##here and there is like losing a pawn.
##
##The basic iteration is: gather the facts from the debate, and make up new
##assumptions. Present the assumptions blankly, as if they were facts. When these
##are challenged, accuse the opponents of personal attack. But accept some of
##the facts, and iterate.
##
##The name Series Expansion, in fact, is deliberately chosen to represent this
##behavior. What is a series expansion? It's a dull, infinite, repetitive
##representation of something compact and obvious. No finite portion of the
##expansion is true; there is always another term to add to make it more
##complete, and that term is predictable. It's so predictable that nobody wants
##to add another term after a while. They'd rather move on, or have everyone
##refer to the generating closed-form expression. So you must /goad/ others into
##writing the next term. You do this by writing an incorrect one, and getting
##them to correct it.
##
##How about ``Seamus Macrae''? The given name portion is cleearly a deliberate
##farce, since the name means ``modest'' or ``bashful''. MacRae is probably a
##play on the word macro (another reference to expansion, note).
##Thus, ``Shameful Macro'' -> ``Seamus MacRae''. Wherever he appears,
##approximately the same bullshit is substituted, with no possibility
##of redefinition.

On reading the beginning of the string below I identified another opportunity to
build an example of the above. I had made several attempts in earlier times
but time available or Paul retreating thwarted the attempts.
Paul knows all about the use of the sig delimiter syntax, he has had it rammed
into his head by many over many years. Paul then recognizes it is a pet hate
for many posters when deliberately broken. I cannot say this was done on
this occasion but Paul certainly sat down at the board and played, the full
game.

Uh huh. And you just happened to compile all that information into one

Which subject is that, Chumpmate? The subject of you jumping in to
defend a kook who's been awarded under *your side's* now-defunct kook
awards? *And* awarded under the New Cabal kook awards?

*That* subject, kook defender?

Or the subject that the both of us were discussing before you jumped
in with your drool-splattering stupidity... that of software not
displaying .sig delimiters correctly? Which would mean I wasn't
changing the subject, and you're just a fucking retard.

i did...and the wriggle as you floundered in the trap:

i know you just sit there drooling over your read, ignoring all those
annoying little indent thingies that you say clutter the read. ignored
at your peril, one of a number of important things you also ignore.
those who do not ignore, those who know what those characters do
are going to have a little smile as i tell you....
you _named_ the wrong author.
there in a nutshell is how much you know about using the
news medium, shit-for-brains. to you the whole deal is just
a means (anonymously you believe) to get your rocks off
in pushing folks around.

thus, as said many times now, ALL your shit is just that as
it is ALL built on false premise, heaped expansion from SFA.

Yeah, it was your sanity finally breaking into millions of little
pieces.

So you're saying that a .sig delimiter is used to name an author of a
post? Are you high, stupid, insane or all of the above?

What the fuck does that have to do with your claim that a .sig
delimiter is used to name authors of posts?!

Why bring this information out now?
I am not privvy to the whole of the politic around Paul's attack on
"outing" posters in alt.usenet.kooks, I am however aware there are
those who believe Paul's performance has caused them to leave
Usenet.
Paul will move on, with sound reason I am of the belief he is about
to do just that. At every move Paul has shown his reappearence is
far more harmful than his last "act". I would suggest those in
alt.usenet.kooks who have left, along with the astute few who
remain, may well agree with that assessment of growth in his condition.
So it is now, where the window exists for those wanting redress, that
action is paramount. In another place Paul will do what he has done
with the "Phoenix/Alien" identity and in earlier times the
"Tim Harrison" identity, in leading investigation well away from him.
It will be much more difficult to pin his pestilence down in the vastness of
Usenet in future times.

There exist Laws which address cyber bullying and libel issues today as
indictable acts of violence.

So it is I highly recommend for those who have suffered damage to
professional reputation and/or financial hardship as a direct result of
Paul's posts under the "Phoenix/Alien" identity to take that information
made public by Paul and seek the assistance of a LEA. In Canada I am
sure the RCMP will be only too cooperative.

I trust this post helps someone out.
