If you believe this, there is a great bridge in Brooklyn that I would like to
sell to you.

"Ceramic insulating paint" has been a very controversial topic and one that
has
received considerable coverage in our publication, Energy Design Update.
There
has been no documentation of any energy savings or other benefits whatsoever
when ceramic coatings are applied to the inside surfaces of a building.
Period. When applied to the exterior surface of roofs and walls, ceramic
paint
will reflect sunlight, like any white coating, and thus reduce solar heat gain
into the structure. But there is published research showing that it is no
more
effective than conventional white coatings.

Anyone interesting in actual research summaries can find them online on Energy
Design Online [(212)662-7428 via direct dial modem].
