I've come into a used compound bow, that appears to be set up for
hunting. Came with about 25 arrows (alluminium) of which 6 have hunting
heads, and a carrying case.

Where is the best place (online) so that I can evaluate it for sale?

I took a few shots with it (relying on experience of 25 years or so ago
and surprised myself with a 5 inch group at 15 yards, though about 2
feet off the target sideways). But I'm really not into archery or
hunting so I'd like to sell off the kit. (IAC I'd want to shoot
lefthanded and it's a right hand bow).

Offhand, I'd guess the value of the bow at $100 - $125, and the value of
the arrows at about $100 - $125... but really want to offer a fair price.

Thanks.

What size arrows? (length and size i.e 1916 2115 etc) Weight and
manufacturer of the bow? (both should be on the bow)
Is there a sight on the bow?

Thanks for your reply Jim, but I'd like a pointer to a site rather than
hash it out here. (You are right that I have to "doc" those points, and
yes, as it is set up for hunting, it does have a sight (4 "wire" sort)).

I don't know of any specific site other than ebay or craig's list

Alan, You are asking "what is this automobile worth" for all intents and
purposes without giving any details on what it is you have. The make and
model really helps determine the price. My "Bear" is ancient and hardly
worth a cent other than as a good starter bow whereas my Martin Ocelot is
considerably newere and I would value around $200 without the 25 Goldtip
carbon arrows. Unless you want to search through closed Ebay auctions
looking for a match to what you have, a few more details may get you a
proper answer.

No. I'm asking _where_ is the best place to go to do that research.

Maybe you can help me. I am looking at buying a 2003 Golden Eagle 85# with an overdraw system. I don't know the model but it has all the bells and whistles.it is my brothers and I know that he spares no expense on accessories. It is all set up for hunting. He's asking 450.00 and although I know how nice it is and super fast, still it is 11 yrs old and just don't know if it's worth it. I appreciate all opinions.....
