I looks like this groups was "dead" for about a year and the out of
the blue ot opened up again. Thanks for the notes. I just love to
shoot for fun and read the opinions of others that just like to
traditionally shoot or make bows and arrows.

I make selfbows from staves for physical exercise. After three years I
can usually turn most sticks into shootable bows. As for shooting I shoot
instinctively, that is, in my case, haphazardly. I'm thinking about
making a shooting-machine/draw-board. Any simple but good plan anywhere?
