Ummm, Hello...

[Android raptor]

Hey, I'm new!! As you can see, my name is Android raptor (but you can
call me A.r.), and I love Gundam!!!!!!! I'm also a U.C.er and proud to
be one, and my favorite Gundam character (and anime character in
general) is 08th's Ghinius Sakhalin (so you Ghinius-bashers better
watch out :P). Anyway, I am a girl, just to clear that up (cause' lots
of ppl think I'm a guy), and a rabid fangirl at that. But I HATE Wing,
so, um, yeah. Anyway, I hope I like this group!

I'm fairly new to this NG as well but lately, it's been dead in here.

Only been "into" Gundam since G-Gundam and currently am enjoying watching
Gundam Seed on Cartoon Network for the first time.

Zeta, G Gundam, Turn-A and the end of X. The only Gundam I thought

G-Saviour was nice -- I got it mainly for Enuka Okuma's appearance (she
did the voice of Lady Une in the English Wing dub) -- but it could have
been done better, IMHO.

I liked Wing a lot; it's what got me hooked on Gundam. But I'm rapidly
warming to the UC continuity, though I'm going about it in a somewhat
haphazard fashion: I started off with G-Saviour on DVD; then watched The
08th MS Team, Gundam 0083, and Char's Counterattack on Cartoon Network;
and, most recently, acquired Gundam F91 and Zeta Gundam on DVD. I'd've
picked up the 5-disc Gundam Movie Collection DVD set, which has the
original Gundam movie trilogy, by now, but I waited too late -- it went
out of print at the end of 2004. :(

Aside from the F91 and Zeta DVDs, I also have all of G-Gundam and Wing
(including Endless Waltz) on DVD (the cover of my Wing Vol 2. DVD is
autographed by Scott McNeil, the English voice of Duo Maxwell), and I'm
three volumes shy of completing Gundam SEED. I'm also hoping Bandai
Entertainment (or its successor, Bandai Visual USA) will bring the
latest Gundam series, Gundam SEED DESTINY, over once it finishes its run
in Japan.

Yeah, I got the Trilogy in 03'. I was a little disapointed in it; it
wasn't as good as the TV series. And it kinnda' suffers from "Akira
compression syndrome", in other words, it feels rushed.

Anyway, I got into Gundam via 08th, and even though I kinnda' liked G,
I'm really more of a U.C. girl. As I mentioned, my favorite character
is Ghinius Sakhalin (even though everyone else hates him), and I also
practically WORSHIP Kishiria Zabi (though she's hated to). I'm a zeek
at heart, but I do think some feddie characters are okay (Karen Joshua,
anyone?). But I can't STAND Ayna Sakhalin!!!
