I concur. Spike no longer shows Adult Party as an item to be looked
up in the schedule. Yahoo TV doesn't show any Adult Party either.
TVguide.com now, no longer lets you look up anything! So I can't verify
it there.

Is that it, Steve?
Wha'pen !?!

Dude, reread the post. Or are you blind.... I said Adult Party
Cartoon is no longer listed. Look at Spike TV....you don't even get
Adult Party Cartoon as a searchable selection anymore.
Ren and Stimpy classics are another show, remember?

Looks like Spike is giving up for now.

Shame, it could of been fun!

Steve- Your boss has you on too short a leash, since you can't say
anything but: "you want quality cartoons or crap?"
We ain't getting either from Spumco now.

SpumCan is working now on the next batch... Altruists, Life Sucks and
(I think) Stimpy's Pregnant. I believe they will air early next year,
but I haven't heard a date yet. We haven't haven't heard yet on a
pickup for season 2 yet. I'll let you know as I hear.

See ya

So did Spike order an additional episode? Or is it just late in the
evening and it's always been 7 episodes (Onwards and Upwards, Ren Seeks
Help, Firedogs 2, Naked Beach Something plus the three you mention)
instead of 6?

The schedule is only for a given week, it's not the overall programming
schedule. The pull down menu lists one off things (like Star Trek
movies), so I think there's a good chance that it's tailored to a given
week. Since APC still has its home page, and links to its homepage
abound in the Spike site, it doesn't seem to be an issue of Spike
pulling all mention from the site.
This is two weeks in a row it hasn't been on the schedule tho. I think
someone at the network should make the decision to keep the padding for
Firedogs 2 (and actually add back the live action paddign filmed for
FD2p2) and use it as two episodes, which would decrease some of the
flack they've been getting (here, and presumably in the ratings as well)
about reruns being driven into the ground.

But you miss the point entirely. Up until this week there was a
CHOICE to search to see if Adult Cartoon Party had anything showing
for the next two weeks. NOW YOU DON"T HAVE IT ON THE LIST OF ALL SHOWS
THEY HAVE. And last week when I chose the APC it showed nothing
scheduled, NOW THE CHOICE IS GONE. sheesh you are hard headed or
something..........I never said, duuuh I don't see it in the
schedule..... I said DUUUUH it's not a searchable selection,
duuuuuhhhhh

now go watch your pokemon crap and go away......always got to be a few
smart @sses to twist around what you post......

Yeah, now you're saying "duhhhh, I'm ignoring your point that the pull
down menu lists things showing in the near future that are on the schedule".

>

What did I twist? I pointed out that the pulldown menu seems very much
tied into what is on the schedule, and that APC not being on the
schedule might cause its absence.
All the shows I checked only have listings until as late as September
23rd; none of the 7 or 8 shows I checked had nothing listed under them.
If APC isn't scheduled to be shown until after that time right now, then
it seems reasonable to not have it in the pulldown menu. It may not be
what you want the facts to mean, but it's a reaosnable explanation and
doesn't twist your post in the least. What made you so insulting? Don't
like having reasonable explanations presented?

It was orginally supposed to be 6 half hours and a TV movie once the
half hours were finished. (7 stories altogether...) John is talking to
TNN about turning the last three stories into hour long specials and
skip doing a TV movie for now. That way, he wouldn't have a problem
fitting the shows into a 22 minute format, and he would still have time
to do new bumpers and fake commercials to go around the shows. Canada
is working on a new "goodbye bumper" right now. ("Say goodnight,
Steempeee...")

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about the TV movie. Had one of the stories in
development been intended as the TV movie at some point?

Life Sucks was intended to be the movie, but it is running short
and Altruists is running long, so the two may even out.

So how far along is the production for the remaining episodes?

I don't think Spike would can the show when they've already payed a good amount
of money for a completed "Naked Beach Frenzy" and two or three more episodes
that are currently in production. It's in Spike's interests to complete,
heavily promote, and air these episodes to get their money's worth. If they
had just cancelled the show surely they would wait untiil after the remaining
cartoons had aired and we'd have heard about it by now.

Storyboard and basic layout is complete. They're working on some final
layout, color and backgrounds now. Then they will go out for animation,
and Canada will start on sound.
