If accurate, won't that be the second repeat of Ren Seeks Help since
Firedogs2, with no reshowing of either part of Firedogs2 yet? Is Spike
disavowing Firedogs2, or are they simply making strange programming choices?
> Is Spike
> disavowing Firedogs2, or are they simply making strange programming choices?
Firedogs 2 is an odd length compared to the other. The complete show
runs around 35 minutes, which with commercials would come out to around
45 minutes.
What is this fucking bullshit (referring not to you, but to Spike)? They are
using the cable companies as an excuse? What horseshit. Comedy Central,
which is in EXACTLY the same programming tier on most cable systems, showed
the uncut South Park movie. Turner Classic Movies, which is in many basic
cable line-ups, has shown MANY movies uncut (The Exorcist, Network, Midnight
Cowboy) that blow away a fucking animated tit (which they have been
censoring on Stripperella).
I know you want to defend the network that has made the ressurection of R&N
possible, but they are really balless wonders.
I'll be checking their respective policies on content in the morning but
here's something to consider -- the CRTC, at least AFAIK, was intended to
keep the content of the various networks respectable to (a majority of) its
viewers. This means that, at least in Canada, we *will* get to see shows
like Spawn and Spicy City, but it will be at an hour where the children
have long since gone to bed. With respect to Spike and some of the other
risk-taking networks, I would also like to see a 70 fps animated action-
comedy with demons/mutants, transformation spells, swords, tommy guns,
buckets of blood and gratuitous nudity (often known as 'fan service' in
some circles) but I also know that, unless TNN, or the other networks, has
been liscenced/permitted to show such a film/series, (particularly when you
consider the 3 hour difference on the west coast) I believe the CRTC, along
with some angry parents/anti-anything pundits, will be on their keysters
like a swarm of hornets and this *could* lead to the disbanding of the
staff and, therefore, no more Ren and Stimpy (at least for a while).
As I said, though, I'll be double checking this before I provide any
feedback on their (current) programming or offer suggestions for future
content.

A few questions then...
1) Does the completed show include the original Firedogs by that count?
As aired, the episodes, excluding commercials but including credits,
live action and FD1, come to about 42 minutes. FD1 is about 9:20; so
does 35 minutes include everything except FD1 but also the live action
that wasn't included in the airing of FD2p2?
2) Is Spike committed to showing FD2 as a single unit as opposed to
split into two with FD1 shown before the first part/ committed to
showing FD1 and 2 as a unit as opposed to an alternative?
3) If they are committed to keeping it a single unit, does this mean
they also will refuse to show it because of its odd length?

It's not a bullshit excuse. Spike really does love the show. They
approved every gag in it and let John go as far as he wanted. The
problem is, the show is pushing the envelope beyond the South Park
movie. It'll all get worked out soon.

how about pairing it with something like MBF or BHB and making it an
hour show....just a thought

Spumco and Viacom are barely able to put out a show now. Out of the 6
episodes ordered by TNN 3 are complete. 2 of them fit into the time
slot, the other is is such an odd length that some cheesey live action
footage of washed-up animator Ralph Bakshi was used to split it into two
bizzare disjointed episodes, one is being held up by censors of "the
cable industry" and the rest are in Spumco-Limbo®.

The South Park movie would have different issues than NB(F?P?) would
have; there's a fuckload of swearing in the South Park movie, but I
don't remember any nudity off hand. I think maybe "beyond" was a poor
choice of words, but there would be issues not addressed by the South
Park movie being shown that would come up for NBwhatever om basic cable.
> Way to retort his valid statements.
Nice "me too" post.
Isn't it all animated however?
Unless there's some hentai style cartoon fucking, I don't see what the big
deal can be. It's art.
With South Park, you had the boatload of swearing, along with sexual
references, sexual terminology, racism, and outright religious slander.

And yet again, you can't address his VALID statements. Nothing he said
outside of "Spumco and Viacom are barely able to put out a show now" was
unfactual, even though it may have been opinionated.

Nothing's been "a little too long" since this started. For shame.
Worth, I respect you for standing like a pillar defending....whoever
you're defending. But this is complete bullshit.
Every time someone bitches about the switches, the timing crap, you
resort to "artistic license".
Absolute bullshit. This Cable station is fucking up big time. The way
it was hyped is not the way it's being delivered. You are quick with
your "see ya", but really no one cares about you. I don't know you
from dogshit, but I do like the show. You claim to be some big player
here, ahem, but if so, what's the story? Really. Does this new "men's"
cable channel really want to fuck its fans in the ass? Can you really
argue that people have not been deceived?

When the announcement was made that Ren & Stimpy were coming back, it
was announced that there would be six episodes. So far, you have seen
four, and the season is less than two months old. You want more
episodes... perhaps one a week. Swell. There's still going to be six.
I'm patiently giving you answers to your questions. When you don't like
the answers I give you, you cry and bitch like a baby. You're talking
to someone who works at Spumco and is a buddy of John K's. There are a
million questions you could ask that would get you much more
interesting answers. But you aren't asking those questions. You keep
waiting for a different answer to the questions I already answered.

Does this mean that Firedogs 2 parts 1 and 2 each count as an episode,
or does (Man's Best Friend and Big House Blues) count as an episode?
Or am I blanking on an episode?
Wasn't that a dildo?
Technically, yes, but until it was shown unattached to Saddam's body, the
gag was that Saddam was visibly playing with himself to get Satan in the
mood.

Sorry, I counted Naked Beach Frenzy. Hopefully that will air soon. We
delivered a censored version last week.

Actually, fella, I'm not asking you anything anymore. Broken fucking
record, you are.
Six episodes are fine. Never complained about that. Whomever is
responsible for the incorrect listing, incorrect start times, etc,
well, it doesn't seem you're "connected" to those folks, big shot.
Given you evade those questions.
I sure wish Dog Show had played the scheduled time slot. I got fifteen
minutes of STriperella or Gary Rat or some horseshit, and half of the
episode I"ve never seen. It's the only one missing from my collection.
Watched the Sammy Mantis episode again last night. That and Untamed
world 3, with the tree Lumox! What a hoot! Can't wait to see this
stuff remastered on DVD. My copies are Crummy.
