elephant population,áwouldákillámore," saidáTamasáMarghescu, directoráof
the International Counciláfor the Protectionáof Wildlife(CIC), an
associationáto promoteáhunting.
According to members ofáthe association, the controversyáof the King
isátheá"political" and thereforeáshould notáaffect the activityáthat
brings them together.

participating ináa huntingáof elephants ináBotswana, aávery
expensiveátripátoáa countryáin economic crisisáand would haveágone
