After years of illegally killing more than the allowed quota, they fix the
problem...raise the quota! Problem solved.
60 more belugas slated to be killed next year. You can bet even more will
still be illegally slaughtered. Quota? What quota?
Article sites practice of selling the beluga meat...how's that for noble
tradition. Concern for threatened eastern beluga swept under the rug, as
their numbers risk being reduced by increased quota.
