Absolutely... money can't buy that kind of publicity and they are
doing a wonderful job helping make fur more popular!

As we men are known to think with our "other head", no man would ever
protest in the nude... ; )

We are saving the worldwide male bonding celebration for when you
disappear from this newsgroup, and reappear on the side of a soy milk
carton.

First of all, MORON, if you read the ENTIRE thread, you would see that I was NOT
arguing with ANYONE...you ASSHOLE, have come to this thread and ONCE AGAIN has started
fights after you were PREVIOUSLY told by TRAPPERS on this group to back off......
Plonked!!! into the killfile where your sick mind belongs....

rehashing of previously posted material. She snapped, and in the
process gave all of us a
clear view of the mindset of the AR crowd. That mindset appears to be:
If loosing argument, get rude, violent and nasty. How can they expect
us to believe they really care about some worthless, destructive vermin
in New Zealand, and then treat people in this manner?
PLONKED for good.

She even lies about putting people in a killfile. Unbelievable! I have cleaned up my act. If
she had taken the time to review this recent thread, she would have noticed no cursing, no
threats, and no harassing. Just lively banter and argument. Plainly, she is confused again.
Another tip Marika, again to keep people from thinking you are dumb as dirt, plonk is a
variation of plunk, which, according to my dictionary, means to come out in favor of someone or
something. Maybe "flushed" would be the word of choice.

It didn't phase her, because it takes at least an iota of intelligence to know when you have been
insulted. Just further proof she is as dumb as dirt. Apparently, she has very little or no self
esteem. Maybe that is why she tends to wage loosing battles, in arenas she has no business entering.
Marika , as a typical ARA, has proved herself to be a valuable asset to the very people she avows to
protest against. In the future, whenever she decides to enter into discussions, of which she only wants
to disrupt, all that needs to be done is to refer to this thread. Show her in her own words how stable
she appears to be, and that any weight or merit her argument may have had, is totally discredited by her
postings in this thread.
By the way, being on Marika's killfile list is not so bad. I still get to see her postings, and am able
to respond to the newsgroup. However, I am not sniped at by some gray haired battle-ax, whose seemingly
sole purpose is to try to disrupt and interfere with the newsgroup's original intent.
And if she responds to my posting, she further weakens her position by demonstrating her ability to
unabashedly lie about even the simplest statements she makes, i.e. permanently "plonking" me into her
killfile.
A tip of the hat, to the ARA's Queen of Debate and Integrity, Marika.
Laughing all the way to the furrier's,
Rich Reasin
I seem to be squarely in the middle on this issue-I have always thought
the anti-fur activists tend to see things from quite narrow (and
sometimes illogical perspective vis a vis the Kiwi
Possums!)perspective-the hunters/trappers rarely see things outside
their own financial or hobby interests. Some animals are endangered/some
are definitely pests. The fur/fiber use of some could make sense if
sustainably managed using humane methods-especially if hunter
guardianship looks after forests perhaps by the trapping of unwanted
introduced pests. While not absolutely endorsing what happened at Seattle
a country that sees fit to create police internet id files on people who
in many cases have not even been implicated in violence(been photoed at
the wrong place and time by the police state eye!) seems excessive. The
anti-fur lobby would do better to identify specifically threatened
species and bring their exploiters to justice using legitimate legal
means. What both sides should have a shared interest in is the
maintenance of native forests-you could do more to increase world and
furry animal survivability by refusing to buy imported rainforest
timber(much Indonesian/South American in origin.Perhaps hunters you
could avoid stocks produced from endangered wood! The blanket disavowall
of all animal use seems extreme-(hey I am trying to cut down on meat-a
more vegetarian world is definitely the way to go due to bad land
management of the past and inefficient non ecological animal proteins
but many vegetarians admit some animal proteins can help balance a
diet-or do we all want to travel down the GE route!Do we all want to
wear synthetics produced by chemical belching fossil fuel wasting
plants? Do we want to hunt down every last Tiger on the planet?
Yours smack bang in the middle and proud of it!

Marika,
YOU have been asked to disappear from this NG. Perhaps you can now demonstrate
how that is done.
