This DSL carrier actually seems to somehow have a half-decent
nntpserver; I'm hoping so because then I could save $15/mo.
by dropping the separate shell account I've been sshing to
for almost 10 years. If I do do that I'll still not hesitate
to recommend Raw Bandwidth Communications, Inc. (aka
rawbw.com,
formerly
tsoft.com, etc.), <
http://www.rawbandwidth.com/> to
anyone needing a (telnet/ssh) shell account or ISP. They've
been very, very good to me, no kidding.
This crappy ISP I'm now using for DSL, which the local telephone
co., I'm only doing so because it's cheap and I'd have to have a
dial tone anyway. It took them two damn months to get the type
of DSL account and the speed I ordered straight.
Anyway, like I said this is a TEST. It'll be a few weeks before
I've decided anything for real.
Anyhow.
