FLYING VET in Prison over CHRISTMAS

Flying Vet, Maurice Kirk, in prison and away from his family.
As a pilot, he had bought an aircraft with a mock-up of a weapon that
had been used as a film prop. The "weapon" had been thrown together
from various bits of scrap iron, and was blocked off and without a
trigger. He sold the prop as an ornament. Neither the film company he
bought it from, not the new owner were prosecuted. Instead, Kirk was
charged with owning and selling a "weapon" so designed as to be able
to release several projectiles through its blocked spout without
repeated pressure on its non-existent trigger.
They authorities are MAD.
By the law of reversed logic, they declared HIM to be mad. However,
they have now given that up.
He had already been classified as a terrorist on a par with bin Laden.
You could not make it up.
Now the mad MAPPA is defunct. Here is what Norman Scarth has to say:

There is an abstract creature called MAPPA ("We are not an official
body" they say): The initials stand for 'Multi Agency Public
Protection Arrangement' & they keep a list, grading those who may be a
risk to the public (you may be on it).
Maurice Kirk has been level 3 (as for Osama bin Laden & Co.) After
several years of high level surveillance on Maurice, they have now
decided he is no risk to the public, & he has been removed from the
list completely.
A prison officer informed Maurice of this on Monday 21/12/09.
Naturally, Maurice is very pleased about this.
He is less pleased that Prison Governess Sian West is indulging her
spite by refusing to allow him to have his legal documents in his
cell, on the pretence that it is a 'fire risk'. This of course means
that the prison library & offices are 'fire risks'.
She has also refused to allow him to have the copy of 'ARCHBOLD' (the
criminal law bible) which I sent to him (costing £21 postage for next
day delivery, so that he would have it for the hearing on Dec.
17th).
These are some of the many violations of the 'United Nations Standard
Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners', to which this country
is a signatory.
It is also in violation of the House of Lords ruling in Raymond v
Honey, which said that prisoners involved in litigation should have
'equality of arms' with the opposing lawyers, i.e. access to a
computer, printer, copier, telephone, fax etc. The prisons do have
laptop computers specifically for litigating prisoners to have in
their cells, but management delight in denying them.

PS: A letter dated 1/12/09 from Nigel Rees, MAPPA co-ordinator for
South Wales Police (refusing disclosure under the FoI Act) refers to
'the risk posed by offenders'. Maurice is NOT an 'offender', in that
he has not been convicted - nor will he be, if there is any pretence
of law or justice in Britain. NS.
