I thought this was cool, a t-shirt featuring an image of Che Guevara
wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt that says "Che Guevara":

I've actually had rightards threaten me over my Che Guevara shirt and
hat pin, and they seem totally mystified when I try to explain the
irony of a communist revolutionary having become just another mass-
market consumer product sold for capitalist profit at the shopping
mall. The communist revolution has become just another fashion logo,
no different than a Nike 'Swoosh.'

Here's another example of capitalist enterprise selling Che Guevara
merchandise for profit:

A few years ago I read, in the _Wall_Street_Journal_
I think, that Guevara's family were suing various people
over rights to the famous image. I guess they are not
as communistic as Che.

Anarchy is also up for sale. You can buy "anarchy" at
a Hard Rock Cafe, the _Sons_Of_Anarchy_ is some
sort of dumb television series, and I have seen ads for
"broken windows", that is, plastic covers which make
your windows look broken, as if the Black Bloc had
been visiting.

There was a fellow in Lithuania who was going to
start a Communism theme park, but I believe he
was dissuaded -- surely a temporary setback.

Yeah, but he's still a monster. You wouldn't wear a Hitler t-shirt,
why
wear a Che one? The idea that it's oh so funny and ironic that a
virulent
anti-capitalist creates capitalists profits only proves that
capitalists
will sell the rope to hang themselves, and that's not a good thing.

It's like the old joke.
"So if you had two houses you'd have to give away one?"
"Yes."
"So if you had two cars you'd have to give away one?"
"Yes."
"So if you had two chickens you'd have to give away one?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because I have two chickens."

So how is he any worse than Dick Cheney?

Che was as bad as Dick Cheney? Well, at least he was a
lot better-looking. Imagine trying to make a famous
poster out of Cheney's image.

If they can do it with Hannibal Lector, they can do it with Dick Cheney.

The left's love affair with murdering dictators never fails to rear
its ugly head. Continue sucking :)

Dick Cheney isn't a leftist. In fact, he'd probably send you to one of
his favorite American Gulags in eastern Europe if he knew you were saying
that about him.

They're different people?

They are, believe it or not.

However, I note that nobody has ever seen George W. Bush and Jame Gump in
the same room at the same time. Mighty suspicious, I think.
