Police in Bradford, Pennsylvania, report that a local man deliberately
shot his finger off recently while intoxicated. Corrections officer
Alfredo Fortunato Malespini III explained to emergency responders that
he'd only wanted to 'get rid of his wedding ring'.
Malespini faces weapons-related charges. Adding to his woes, the
wedding ring remained in place on the finger.

Alfredo Malespini =
Er, old flame is _pain_!

(There have to be better things in there, but I wanted to post
_something_. I know my pope 'gram sharks 'gram were at least a bit
better.)

I agree, she apparently was a pain--funny!!

That middle name sure is a misnomer!

Alfredo Fortunato Malespini III=
Part II of idiot name ran foul, lies.

Alfredo Fortunato Malespini III=
Opinion? A Total Misfired Failure!
Familiar, routine options failed? [Butter, ice,... GUN????)
"I opt in firearm solution; failed."
Italian-offered solution? IMPAIR!

Alfredo Fortunato Malespini III ~ puts a real fine "I" in "IDIOT"-ROFLMAO!!

This last one [that I actually found first] just kinda fell into place:

Alfredo Fortunato Malespini III=
Frail ironies foiled amputation

I've got to think there's still plenty more left in his extended name.

Fantastic! Puts my poor effort to shame.

Thank you, sir.

agreed - very funny.
My less hilarious effort:

Alfredo Fortunato Malespini III = I do aim... nuptial era is not for
life

pointed rifle - too familiar in USA!
I filed suit for animal operation

history does not relate what type of gun was used nor whether he
inadvertently shot the pet hamster. thereby incurring heavy vet
bills...

Indeed, and you capture that well:

This is another one I think works well, but I might prefer it with the
last two words turned round:

This one is brilliant!

Another option:
Nuptial "I do"s are not for life. I aim...

> pointed rifle - too familiar in USA!

I really want it to have been a rifle now. Both the image and the
'gram are worth it.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed them. That last one was immensely
gratifying to find.

Agreed. So good, I might add "ROFLMAO" in my anagram dictionary, hoping that
I can emulate such grams one day!
