Thank you.
She had a great send off. We managed to get the same ex-clergyman that
we had for dad's funeral who was really good - and a few people who had
not heard them before heard the stories about when someone wanted to buy
her for 3 camels including a white one and when, on her weekly walks on
The Wirral, she once almost got arrested by the Police for obstruction
on a lane with her zimmer ~ she accepted the lift then told the dibble
that as she was now half an hour early for her bus, he'd have to buy her
half of shandy. She told me later that she'd have refused the lift and
let herself get arrested but she had a salmon steak thawing in the
kitchen for her dinner.
>I'm glad you were able to spend time with her near the end
A few weeks before she went into Hospital mid December she fairly
suddenly become very frail. Still a very determined and stubborn elderly
lady who never lost her sharpness of mind or sense of humour though.
Still did all her banking in the local branch every other week even
though I had to help get her there (on and off the bus and across a road
where the pedestrian lights didn't give her enough time.
Being there most days then practically every day, I'm glad I had the
opportunity to spend a lot of time with her - even if it meant having to
sit through Coronation Street :)
Sorry all, I'm waffling.

Hmmm.

With a long gram I tend to try and get rid of both consonants and vowels
that I've got a lot of, especially if they are awkward to use - the
k,j,x,z thing - then see what's left. I've imported my own word list to
Anagram Artist - the one of ~220,000 words I used for my ancient DOS
pattern matching program - which I think is more than occasionally
helpful.

Please do. The full title of the one mum did every week, even on
holiday, is "The Sunday Express General Knowledge £1000 Crossword". I
think we can ignore the £1000 in any anagrams - though she did win it
once, it pretty well paid the additional for four coach holidays to
Germany she considered going on but thought far too expensive for s
Don't worry about whether or not to post any funny rude anagrams found,
Sheila (mum) would be amused by them.
