okay, i looked at your site.
i'm gonna be brutally honest:
the HTML design is horrible.
the paintings are hang-'em-over-the-sofa-in-the-burbs quality.
not bad, for watercolours, i guess...but the subject matter does nothing for me:
landscapes, seascapes, bowls of fruit, flowers, wine bottles, women, babies...
you know, very back-cover-of-the-Reader's-Digest style.
one of them is patently hilarious: have a look at this and tell me if this
girl does not look like she is holding one of those "Porta-Pussy" fake
rubber vaginas in her hand.
i think it's *supposed* to be a flower. LOL!

a few of the cat pictures are nice because they look like my cats:
"cat sleeping" looks a lot like Waa, and there's something undeniably sweet
about "the new kitten"...looks like a baby Aerr Aerr.
but dude...you spammed your URL across god knows how many newsgroups,
so i'm going to have to spank you for that.
my advice, take it or leave it:
you need to dose your coffee with LSD - or at least *pretend to* -
and do more stuff along the lines of "dreaming"...but even weirder.
what you need to realise is that 10,000 artists paint pictures of seascapes
and dining room tables every month, and their paintings get sold for five
bucks at "Starving Artist" shows. the ones that don't get sold there (a
lot of them) end up at Goodwill or St. Vincent DePaul thrift shops and
start mouldering.
you have some painting talent, Julian, i can see that.
you have some ability to render shapes and use colour.
don't waste it pandering to the masses...or it will never be noticed.
and when it's not noticed, you resort to spamming your URL to get
attention, which won't make you very many friends.
just a thought.
