Let me explain. The reason there was nothing attached was because nothing
needed to be. The title of the post explains it all: Palin/Dobbs 2012.
Now, what do you think of this political team for the 2012 elections?

The latent prevalence of a long-lived and common brain parasite,
Toxoplasma gondii, explains a statistically significant portion of
the variance in aggregate neuroticism among populations, as well as
in the 'neurotic' cultural dimensions of sex roles and uncertainty
avoidance. Spurious or non-causal correlations between aggregate
personality and aspects of climate and culture that influence T.
gondii transmission could also drive these patterns. A link between
culture and T. gondii hypothetically results from a behavioural
manipulation that the parasite uses to increase its transmission to
the next host in the life cycle: a cat. While latent toxoplasmosis
is usually benign, the parasite's subtle effect on individual
personality appears to alter the aggregate personality at the
population level. Drivers of the geographical variation in the
prevalence of this parasite include the effects of climate on the
persistence of infectious stages in soil, the cultural practices of
food preparation and cats as pets. Some variation in culture,
therefore, may ultimately be related to how climate affects the
distribution of T. gondii, though the results only explain a
fraction of the variation in two of the four cultural dimensions,
suggesting that if T. gondii does influence human culture, it is
only one among many factors.

How does this cultural slur and the turgid explanation of the evils of
eating undercooked meat explain the wars in the Middle East, in particular
Iraq? The French are not involved there. Are you perhaps suggesting that
the reason Bush invaded Iraq was really because he had been eating

The stereotype about eating cats (whatever the cooking) is attributed by
some Americans (the one I met came from the Middle West) to East Indian
cuisine. "I would never eat in an Indian restaurant, they cook cats." My
former son-in-law, who made this statement, did not mention how long the
cats were cooked.

A second bingo.
Mr. D. is a big believer in over-kill. After all he called me a
"racist lunatic" because I didn't approve of his comparing the
Holocaust to a "toothache," in his trying to claim the Shoah
wasn't "evil" to him. Of course that's a personal issue and
we'll let it go at that.
However; he has also directly and exactly stated that "racism as a
negative character trait is grossly overstated."
So let's not dwell on if you think someone who takes issue
with another having considered the Shoah to be the same as a
toothache, is a "lunatic racist"?
Let's look at a more important overarching issue than petty and
meaningless slanderous attacks on the character of another
Instead, without interjecting any comment regarding that
personal issue, let's look at if you believe that "racism as a
negative character trait is grossly overstated"?
I ask this second question because I am sure that --

Those 19 victims of racist murder by a gang of Moscow skinheads,
and the millions of other victims of racism.
-- do not feel that "racism as a negative character trait is grossly
overstated." Of course they can't "feel" anything, since they were
all murdered by racists who visibly expressed that "negative
character trait," that Mr. D insists is "grossly overstated."
Now you must have an opinion on racism, Donna. Don't be afraid to
express that opinion.

My opinion on racism is that race differences are born, but racism is made.
Race is an accident of birth, racism is a deliberate choice. I consider it
an odious choice, because it is prejudice against something which one cannot
help, and which, when all is said and done, says nothing about the character
of the person at whom the prejudice is directed.
Does that answer your question?
>
> Planet Visitor II
Not exactly. The honorable Mr. D. was not referring to the _character
of the person against whom the prejudice is directed_. He was
referring instead to the person having directed that prejudice...
insisting that this character trait of being a racist is "grossly
overstated" as a negative character trait.
So I'll ask again -- do you feel that the character trait of someone
who is a racist, is a "grossly overstated negative character trait"?
Believe me.. that WAS his argument.

Of course I'm asking you to take a side. But not the side of either
me or the Honorable Mr. D. I'm asking you to take a side of either
agreeing with or disagreeing with racism being "grossly overstated
as a negative character trait." I suspect that you aren't that
concerned about racism if you don't feel the impact of murder
committed by racists is enough for you to either dispute or agree
regarding racism as a negative character trait being grossly
overstated. You certainly tried to turn the statement into a
discussion of the "negative character traits" of the victims of
racism, rather than the "negative character traits" of the racist
victimizer. Why did you do that, Donna? What motivated you to
do that? Where did you ever get the idea that this was about
the presumed "negative character traits" of the victims of racism?
>I know you are not happy, I'm sorry.
Happy has nothing to do with it. I'm, more than anything else,
mortified in the name of all humans as a supposedly sentient species,
that someone would find there is nothing that would trigger a
response of some kind to the statement "racism as a negative
character trait is grossly overstated." What have we all become
that we would take no interest in the issue of racism?
I also wonder if I had written those words if you would be so shy
about forming an opinion on those words. Supposed I had written
"racism as a negative character trait is grossly overstated," and
asked you if you agreed with that! Would you still insist that
you _won't take sides in respect to racism_?
I wonder if Bill Bonde or PJ or even jigsaw, had written those words,
if you would still insist that you _won't take sides in respect to
racism_?
Think about it, please.
You are quite welcome to make all the excuses for racism you wish,
my dear sir. It doesn't change my view that you cannot excuse racism.
Just as I believe you can't... you may believe you can... and that is
your right... just as White Power groups have the _right_ to hate
Blacks, as odious as that is to me. But then my sensibilities are
much more easily offended than yours... being the cold fish you are.
My view remains rock solid regardless of your view. And I suspect the
victims of racism that I've shown above would turn in their grave at
the idea that "racism as a negative character trait is grossly
overstated."
You might as well have said that "Nazism as a negative character
trait is grossly overstated" to add that finishing touch to your
denial that you find the Holocaust was "evil," while you did consider
Sharon and all his cabinet to be "evil." Dissing six million
innocent Jews. Once again... I understand that you are well
aware of which side of the bread you need to butter. And it
ain't the _Jewish and Black American side_. I also remember
how you implied that those who confront racism are "fanatics,"
and "dangerous."
You don't have to try to explain it away, sir. I understand
completely your position and without a retraction of those nine
words there is no possibility of any explaining them away to me.
So why even bother trying as you are obviously now doing? I
don't give a shit if you admit to being a racist, or if you admit
your entire family is comprised of all racists, or if you insist that
all Australians are racists. It doesn't change one bit the fact that
you firmly believe "racism as a negative character trait is grossly
overstated."
>After all, I don't believe that your implicit hysteria, lying and
>fondness for character assassination render you irredeemable.
Once again, your insults only reflect your desperation, my dear sir.
It's only nine words -- "racism as a negative character trait is
grossly overstated." Now where in those nine words of yours
have I shown any hysteria, lying or fondness of character
assassination? You did write those nine words, right? So there
could not possibly be any lie by me. While I simply listed a number
of people (having been murdered by racists) who would most
certainly strongly disagree with those nine words. You might
even call them MY "character witnesses." Now where is that
character of yours that you claim I'm assassinating?

If that lame excuse of yours were a horse, we'd have to shoot it.
Please don't embarrass yourself with that pitiful whine of -- "I've
been misquoted." I quoted your words and your meaning quite
accurately. In fact, when you stated that "racism as a negative
character trait is grossly overstated," you followed that right up
with the words "to utterly condemn someone who may have many
positive characteristics because of their racism usually does nothing
to combat that racism; rather it often reinforces it." Actually,
passing up the opportunity to condemn that negative character
trait regardless of any other character trait is an intentional
appeal to accept racism as something not to be concerned about.
So your whining is just another crock of shit condemning any criticism
of racism.
Of course you don't want to detect any "negative character trait"
in a comment from your friend who insisted his G-d had told him
that all the Arabs (who he called "scum) from the Nile to the Tigris
should be exterminated. Now THAT is a dangerous action on
your part... not willing to confront and condemn racism, although
you kept saying that you do "condemn racism," when you see it.
Of course you claimed my condemning that comment as racist
was "dangerous" and made me a strident fanatic in condemning
racism, as if I'm the one having suggested the extermination of
all Arabs from the Nile to the Tigris.

Your support for their racism regardless of any supposed "positive
character attributes" you subjectively assign to them, shows the
question is a non-starter since you already have stated they are still
worthy of your affection. So I don't care if you wash their feet in
olive oil and lick it off... they are still holding a particular
racist view in your opinion. So they are worthy of your affection in
spite of their racism, regardless of what I feel about it. You say
so yourself. I am certain that anything I might say would not cause
you to not feel they are worthy of your affection regardless of their
racism. You've proved that in one remarkable disturbing case
right in this group.

trait Jim. If it is, please demonstrate why.

You wouldn't know the truth if you found it in bed with your missus,
Jim.

You wouldn't know the truth if it danced a jig on your dinner table,
shouting, "I AM THE TRUTH" at the top of its lungs and wearing a
gigantic sandwich board saying "THE TRUTH".

It is your fault that you are utterly incapable of answering a difficult
question, Jim.
Pathetic of you, as ever.

You examine the words carefully, and in this case you come away with
the realization that no matter how you slice and dice it, the words of
"racism as a negative character trait is grossly overstated," lend
support only to racists. It certainly does not mitigate your words
with that silly argument that "positive character traits" can somehow
undo racism.
I imagine a true and admitted racist could claim that he doesn't beat
his dog should negate his racism. Hell, your friend offers that kind
of excuse quite often. Claiming he was only "trolling" when he stated
"my view is that Israel could (and should) be allowed to clean up the
scum in the area, and not leave a single Arab alive from the Nile to
the Tigris, as G-d intended it in His Torah." Probably claiming that
the "good character trait" of reading his Torah negates his racist
rant for genocide of the Arabs in the Middle East.
Let me ask you this... since you've defined racism as a grossly
overstated negative character trait, and that it can somehow be offset
by comparable or more positive character traits, what exactly
are those "positive character traits," that can negate a person's
racism? Don't be shy... be precise. Does loving one's wife offset
that racism? Does not following through on that racism by
harming another offset that racism? Does being a fireman
offset that racism? Does contributing to the "Fund for the
Preservation of Islam," offset that racism? Does "going green" offset
that racism? Does being selected for a reality TV show offset that
racism? Does helping everyone who is of the same race they
are constitute a "positive character trait"?
What I see as a very fine "positive character trait" is believing in
equality and treating each and human being equally... but gee... that
couldn't be done by someone having the negative character trait of
racism, regardless of how "grossly overstated" you expect racism is.
Doing so would be what we call a paradox. Racism, by definition,
means one does NOT treat everyone equally.

Well, you certainly didn't "condemn" racism as a character trait, my
boy. In fact you rather made an excuse for it, wouldn't you say?
How is it NOT an excuse for racism to claim it is grossly overstated
as a negative character trait?

It's rather creepy that you would bring in the subject of my missus in
bed as some sort of claim that I don't know the truth.

Your problem is that hay is more acceptable to an ass than the truth.

Already answered.

And childishly repetitive of you, as ever.

Why would you even need to ask that question? I have already told you
that your parents didn't teach you to be nice to your intellectual
superiors.

Oh-oh, Jon ... 'looks like you're the new object of Nazi Spastic Noles's

Actually, that's a lie. Jon called you a 'racist lunatic' just after your
racist rant against Arabs and Thais.
You are a racist lunatic, Nazi Noles.
However, let's dwell for a second on who _else_ has had cause to mention
your racism, eh?
<fx: Nazi Noles mutters, 'oh, shit ....'>
'... you know full well that you are a racist and will remain one until
you die'
(Reichstag Rennie, 17 December 2006)
<http://is.gd/1DgvD>
Well, well, well. Fancy that, eh?
Did you start a vendetta against Reichstag Rennie? Did you start to obsess
over him the way you do over Jon and me? Or did you wait until he had
insulted Israel and then stick your nose so far up his bumcrack that he
walked funny for a month?
'Israel should not exist'
(Reichstag Rennie)
<http://is.gd/YQ96>
'That's good enough for me'
(Nazi Noles)
<http://is.gd/1g40n>
Well .. <fx: dusts hands> ... that's _that_ question answered.

It's the Nazi Noles way, Donna. Just like his hero (for whom he voted in
2000 and 2004), Nazi Spastic Noles believes you're either for him, or
against him.

Come now, Donna. If you were the group punchbag, incapable of winning a
single argument, wouldn't _you_ be pretty pissed, too?

Well, you are, Nazi Noles. Or have you forgotten....

Nazi Spastic Noles is in copy and paste mode.
Jon is hereby declared the winner.
