All of the proponents of global warming have been silent on the
subject since the revolation that the data was faked.
And we have not heard from the Doom and Gloom folks on Iraq,
Oh well, I gouess they are out in the back yard grilling a nice
whaleburger.

Another Jiggy LIE. There is no faked data, that is
a big lie generated by you degenerates.
A good analysis of this is provided by Hansen, who is not in the
list of e-mail communicators and possibly the best climate scientist
in the USA.

provides a good review, also information how people are receiving death
threats and have to travel protected.
I posted this elsewhere

The above is a communication by James Hansen, one of the top climate
scientists.
He states at the beginning of this 8 page report that in giving
a talk in Houston this month the organizers felt he should
have a police escort between his hotel and meeting place.
One blogger recommended the death penalty of Hansen.
True or not true?
It is reported at http://mediamatters.org/blog/200911290004
which also quotes Limbaugh as saying
Limbaugh: Scientists involved in global warming "hoax" should be "named and
fired, drawn and quartered, or whatever it is"
To be "drawn and quartered" is a form of execution which has fallen
out of fashion in recent centuries.

Your ilk loves threats, that is why it is wedded to the "right" to be armed,
so they can assassinate others.

It might just mean someone paints your portrait and then makes you
sleep next to Jesus in his manger because there's no room in the
inn. You need to ask Limbaugh what he meant by "drawn and
quartered" before you attribute something nefarious.

The term is well defined, no wiggle room for you sonny,
215,000 google hits worth. And on google news
Limbaugh gets credit for having said it.
His over message is clear, global warming avocates should
be killed.

It must be admitted that drawing and quartering was sometimes
a post-mortem event, the individual having been hung. However
the following description should bring joy to the hearts
of those for the death penalty "a la ancien", the good old days.
*****
part of the grisly penalty anciently ordained in England (1283) for the
crime of treason. Until 1867, when it was abolished, the full punishment for
a traitor could include several steps. First he was drawn, that is, tied to
a horse and dragged to the gallows. A so-called hurdle, or sledge, is
sometimes mentioned in this context. Although such a device may have been a
means of mercy, The History of English Law Before the Time of Edward I (2nd
ed., 1898; reissued 1996) states that it was more likely a way to deliver a
live body to the hangman. The remainder of the punishment might include
hanging (usually not to the death), usually live disemboweling, burning of
the entrails, beheading, and quartering. This last step was sometimes
accomplished by tying each of the four limbs to a different horse and
spurring them in different directions.

I can see the smile of joy on Jiggy's fact as he read this
Let's be really Christmassy:
There are two meanings for the word 'drawn'.
From OED:
The Oxford English Dictionary notes both meanings of drawn: "To draw out
the viscera or the like, to the place of execution". It states that "In
many cases of executions it is uncertain [which of these senses of
drawn] is meant. The presumption is that where drawn is mentioned after
hanged, the sense is [the second meaning]."[7]
The condemned man would usually be sentenced to the short drop method of
hanging, so that the neck would not break. The man was usually dragged
alive to the quartering table, although in some cases men were brought
to the table dead or unconscious. A splash of water was usually employed
to wake the man if unconscious, then he was laid down on the table. A
large cut was made in the gut after removing the genitalia, and the
intestines would be spooled out on a device that resembled a dough
roller. Each piece of organ would be burned before the sufferer's eyes,
and when he was completely disembowelled, his head would be cut off. The
body would then be cut into four pieces, and the king would decide where
they were to be displayed. Usually the head was sent to the Tower of
London and, as in the case of William Wallace, the other four pieces
were sent to different parts of the country. The head was generally
par-boiled in brine to preserve the appearance of the head in display,
while the quarters were more often prepared in pitch, for longer-lasting
deterrent displays.
[edit] History
BTW this is not just an English form of execution - it was
practiced with variations all over Europe.

An example of this occurred in the US, in Louisiana when it was still
French. I have the archival documents on this somewhere, as I did research
on it for one of the descendants of the criminal thus treated, but I just
don't have the heart (or the guts) to look up the gory details. I will take
your word, John.
