His biggest success so far is preventing a deep recession
and collapse of the financial banking system. Having
saved the country from the ravages of Capitalism gone Mad,
he will continue.
The people however have limited vision, their jobs.
The polls show they are wrong since a majority things
the country is going in the wrong direction. The truth
is that it is pointed in the right direction and has
been for months.

Only because those of us who *choose* to roll the dice the American
way by *choosing* to self insure for their healthcare will be coerced
into buying health insurance under threat of
both fines and imprisonment for not doing so by this thing called
government "if it passes".
That's OK with Leftism because they think there is a Big Brother
somewhere who always knows what is best for us.
The rest of us realize all too well that the verb "to govern" is very
close to the verb "to oppress" (i.e. the essence of Socialism so
beloved by the Evleths).
This healthcare issue is purely the typical demagoguery of Leftism
articulated decades ago as follows:

"The current product" is what's left after those "other politicians"
in Congress threatened to filibuster the whole thing to deliberately
block any attempt to rein in the profane profits of the private
insurance companies presently dominating the present healthcare system
in the United States. Those "others," those non-Democrats, came very
close to again sabotaging all chances of making healthcare insurance
available to millions of Americans.
And, of course, that reflects the failure of president Obama's
leadership, the president's utter failure to persuade even one of
those "non-Democrats" in Congress to join the Democrats in trying to
formulate a healthcare insurance system that would be fair to all
Americans. It's obviously all Obama's fault.
Well, no one can blame the Republican politicians in Congress for
Obama's failure. Right?

The government arbitrarily authorises more or less laissez faire phone
taps of its citizens and curtails any number of freedoms at the cost
of billions and nobody lifts a finger.
The government tries to offer a state run health insurance option that
is affordable for all Americans and all hell breaks loose.
