Integrated Office Accounting (Based in Ontario) (Similar to UA Corporate
Accounting but less $$$)
Cougar Mountain Software (Based in the Midwest)
Here is a good start for you. I would suggest contacting an Accounting
software consultant who is able to do a Needs analysis and locate software
based on your operational, systems requirements and budget. The rule of
thumb is to budget an equal or greater amount for installation and training
in the mid-range software market - these are not "plug & run" type
applications.

You say you need a car, and your annual income in 150K, and you don't like
the feel of a GEO Metro. I suggest something in Cadillac, Buick or Mercury.
I'm not coming in with BMW, nor Rolls Royce.
There are plenty of packages to choose from. Spend more time on the
interview process of your reseller. Get references, check them out and see
how long it takes them to:
1) Get back to you when you call early on.
2) Have opportunity to make modifications for your business.
3) Updates schedule and are they worth the $ and do they cause more harm
than good.
4) Are they trainers or sales people?
5) Are they open to your ownership of your code and data, or do they think
that you are just renting it?
Good Luck from and End User.

Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
QuickBooks will probably work for you unless you carry a lot of
inventory or have a data file larger than 60 megabytes. It only costs
around $200. I recommend that you give it a shot before you move up to
something more expensive. In addition, if you stick with QuickBooks,
in a couple of years, you may see a QuickBooks enterprise edition.
On the other hand, if you're set on something else, look into one of
the packages from SBT. There are several choices, and it is easily-
configured. BTW, I am not affiliated with either company.
