Why do social liberals have a double-standard when it comes to girls?
When a few boys were molested by gay priests, the liberals were
screaming bloody murder because the local bishops didn't immediately
report the perverts to the police. When little girls are the victims
of rapists, these same liberals have only the highest praise for the
people covering-up these crimes. We pro-lifers are the only ones who
are truly pro-woman.

Albuquerque, New Mexico – Project Defending Life has released a video
that features an undercover phone call placed to Planned Parenthood of
New Mexico in Albuquerque by a woman seeking an abortion who indicated
she was 14 and her boyfriend was 21. The caller was told by a Planned
Parenthood employee that they probably would not need to report even
though the relationship qualifies as statutory rape.
The caller asked if her age would be a problem. The Planned Parenthood
receptionist responded, “In Mexico, there’s no limit on when you can
have sexual reproduction rights.”
The caller told the receptionist the age of her boyfriend and
indicated he was “worried” that he would be reported.
CALLER: Well, I’m concerned because I’m 14…but my boyfriend is the one
who is going to be bringing me and he is worried because he’s 21.
PLANNED PARENTHOOD: You need to come to your appointment and
[unintelligible] that with the doctor.”
CALLER: Will he get in trouble?
PLANNED PARENTHOOD: That’s what you and the doctor would have to
discuss. It just depends on what – the state law that we have to
report. They probably won’t. This is something we see often. You’re
certainly not the first one.
The Planned Parenthood worker identified the abortionist as Shauna
Jamison.

which is what you object to, isn't it "J"? Do you understand the health
and life risk a pregnant 14 year old girl faces? I'm sure you do! PP
isn't the police or the parent of the girl, PP has the job of saving the
woman's life, health and future. You want to put up a barrier to
medical care for young girls.
14 year old not being forced to give birth and further rape her.
Unwanted birth is the ultimate rape. Without medical confidentiality,
many young girls may wait until it's too late for the decency of
abortion and totally ruin their lives and health, that's what you
actually want, isn't it, "J"?

legalistic bureaucrats.
If that's the best the anti-Planned Parenthood league can come up with,
they may want to look into finding more productive ways to spend their
time!

Catholic Church, they aren't covering up one of their own.
2. Every time you woman-hating forced-birthers claim Planned
Parenthood has failed to report such a rape, it has turned out that
they were abiding by the laws governing such matters. Forced-birthers
don't obey the laws against bombing clinics and murdering doctors.
3. There is no double standard. A most recent thread covered the story
of a disgusting Catholic Priest abusing a girl in Minnesota.
Fortunately, the girl's parents reported the crime to the legal
authorities. If the parents had accepted a bribe from the Catholic
Church to keep their mouths shut, no one would have heard of the crime
and the priest would be looking for his next victim.

What follows is a transcript of a ***telephone call*** that may or may not be real. Did the caller give her real name and phone number? How would the person answering the phone know that it's not a prank call, or a call from an anti-abortion person playing a game of "gotcha"? Planned Parenthood has no obligation to report anything to the authorities based on a telephone call.

Also too, there is no hard and fast law requiring health care providers to report cases of suspected statutory rape to the authorities. In fact, the American Academy of Pediatricians are against such a law. I wonder if you can figure out why?
OK, you probably can't figure it out, so I'll tell you - it's because teenage girls would avoid medical treatment for pregnancy and/or STDs if they knew that their doctors were required to report them. Is that what you want?
