While it is commendable that this man is proud of his ethnicity, he
should not have infringed his beliefs upon other state employees. The fact
that it was an accident should have resulted in a warning, not suspension.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A Tennessee state trooper who accidentally sent an
e-mail proclaiming white pride to 787 state employees has been suspended for
15 days without pay and will have to attend diversity training.
The e-mail from Trooper Brent Gobbell states, in part, "You rob us,
carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black
gang member ... you call him a racist." It also includes a list of racist
epithets.

I do nothing more than anyone else here, I post my opinions on matters of
interest. Those who choose not to read them already exercize that right. A
state employee sending an e-mail to fellow employees is different because
these views are being shared under false pretense; business. YOU are the
nazi turd who wants to silence all individuals of the right to share an
opinion if it differs from your's.
