Christians are like Slinkys. They're boring, but they'll put a smile on
your face when you push them down the stairs.
Thank you! And may 2010 be one of the worst years of your life.

Can't put it any more succintly than this:
"J, when a jackass like you wishes everybody a Merry xmas or Happy
Chanukah, we all know that you are just being a jackass. That your
salutations are spurious and fraught with ill intent is clearly
evidenced in this post of yours. When the target audience of your
specious greetings is made up of people you've time and again
demonstrated hatred of you can't be anymore transpicuous."

No one has to "wannabe" an athiest. All it takes is a little common
sense.
Theists actually deny the very existences of most gods but get upset
when sensible people merely deny belief in them.
Oy... yeah, mazel tov! May your new year be profitable, and many happy
returns on your mutual fund investments and T-bills. L'Chaim!

Can you make a New Year's resolution to be moral and honest for
next year?

You a little late, new years was on the 19th of September.
You could contribute an effort to achieve that by not posting for 365 days.

If we only had a spacecraft to be launched to Rigil Kentaurus (Alpha
Centauri to the non-astro population)...at solar system escape velocity,
it'd be about seven miles a second, which means he'd be getting a little
over 600,000 miles a day, which would get him out there in a little short of
20,000 years, give or take a percent.
Precisely the same can be said about atheists. But not about agnostics.
Well said, Nefesh! But not very democratic of you. You Jewish guys are
only 2.5% of us.
