Is there a way to create a picture in Rhino but have it show the lines
instead of the surfaces? I am interested in making a 3-D anaglyph,
and I want it to be line drawings. Is there some kind of renderer
available that will do this?

I don't want the surfaces rendered, but actually I would like any
surface present to perform the service of hiding any lines that are
behind it. But even without this feature, I would be delighted to
find something.

Thanks,

Will

The only way I can think of to do that would be to create the form as
surfaces, and then create a second wire frame 1 or 2 pixels out from that
and use tubes of .2 pixels around each line. The inner surface would stop
the construct from being see-through, and the outer one would cause the
lines you wanted...I think....I've never tried something like that.

Thanks Jax! I wondered if I would have to approach it along these
lines. However, I just noticed on their site that Rhino has a new
beta product called Penguin. From their site:

-----------------
Penguin brings freehand sketching, watercolor painting and
cartoon-like rendering to Rhino.
What is Penguin?
Penguin is a non-photometric scan line renderer for Rhino. With
Penguin you can create stylized images of your models with an artistic
look for enhanced graphic and visual appeal.
-----------------

It may be just what I need.
