Eccky thump! 
  After a good breakfast of KIPPER and grilled toms and mush, I travelled far to visit Pater, (no beans, toast or tea). Coffee for me! At the poob at lunchtime, I managed a bowl of Tom swoup with some Fawlty included. T'was good. The bread was more than wonderful. A small bakery in Henllan. Worth trying... more »

  On Fri, 06 Nov 2009 22:12:24 +0000, Snowleopard ...Doesn't look too much different than an eggpoacher that uses steam to poach. Did you ever swirl the water before dropping the egg in? (regular method) Purists say that's the only way to poach an egg, but I've never tried it. Of course, you keep swirling the water after you've dropped the egg... more »

Corned beef hash 
  An old favourite from childhood. Anyone have a favoured recipe? A quick browse of the web suggests that people make it with cubed potatoes, which seems odd. My basic recipe involves little more than mashed potato, corned beef and browned on!ons, all mashed together in a large bowl, then fried.... more »
