I recently returned from a road trip in Massachusetts and I used Bonanza
Bus Lines to travel to some of those places. To do this I had to be put
on hold for at least 20 minutes (it was 10:30 PM so I figured phone
lines wouldn't be busy. I was wrong. They played this little jingle:

Sit back, enjoy the ride,
Relax, we'll get you there on time,
In the comfort you can always find
When you're riding on Bonanza Line.
The best way to go, Bonanza!

Now, this pissed me off. Ride;time;find;line
Not one pair of those rhyme! It's sickening that in this day and age
when we can put a man on the moon someone can't think of a decend little
jingle that rhymes. Is that so much to ask?!

Couldn't agree more. Especially in a jingle that you want people to
remember. Also you'd think they'd rhyme their jingle with Bonanza (which
would likely require some forced rhyme but might be clever) but not being
able to ryhme "line"????

C'mon guys! This is the new trend "hate-advertising", You get people to tell
other people about your product, by making an ad which noone likes. It's a
clever trick in a time, where everybody is fed up with commercials, and love
to brag about, how much they hate advertising.

Amazing!!!! just this week I was talking to the CEO of Bonanza bus lines,
and he said he had a plot to get a mention of his bus company on usenet
news without posting it himself. Rubbish I said...

Patrick, ie., now I owe him 10 bucks
