only am I a coffee snob, but I also make chocolate. Chocolate covered coffee beans are not something that can be made at home as it need a highly specialized piece of equipment called a panner.
Do not give up hope though. I have made something quite delicious that gives the same effect. Roast your beand and course crush them in a zip lock bag.
Get a 9X9 baking pan and either PAM it or line with parchment paper. Melt some chocolate and pour a thin layer in the bottom. Sprinkle the crushed beans over the top. Once set, pour another layer of chocolate over the beans, Break into pieces and enjoy.
