yea its nice and all, but are people really going to buy that inflatable bed thing? Why not just use some pillows?

Hello everyone,

I came up with a way to work standing up, reclining/sitting up and lying down - all without a desk/table and without a sofa/chair. This obviously requires the AlphaGrip and a few more things:

- HD Projector (HD 720 from £500, HD 1080 from £900)
use HD 720 (1280x720) for resolution equivalent to 1 monitor or use HD 1080 (1920x1080) for resolution equivalent to 2 monitors
- Inflatable Bed Recliner (from £55)
- 90° specs (€ 19.90)
- Bed (everyone has one :-) )

Please see the drawing attached on how you would use these. I am going to shortly summarize every position again:
- To work standing up: Stand behind the bed.
- To work reclining/sitting down: Lie on bed with bed recliner inflated.
- To work lying down: Lie on bed wearing 90° specs.

Does it get any better than this? Questions and comments are welcome!

Best regards,

Hermann

That's a pretty good idea. And I already have a pair of 90° specs for
TV viewing!

You could also use one of those monitors that is like a pair of
glasses instead of the HD projector and 90° specs.

Thanks for sharing and keep it up!

No, I have never tried an HMD, I have never even seen one in person.
Also I'm not even using my AlphaGrip: I just haven't taken the time,
plus it was difficult setting up for coding.

I got my 90° specs about 8 years ago. I don't remember where I got
them, I just searched the internet.
I think I entered "TV viewing spectacles" or "TV viewing glasses" in
my search engine.
They look exactly like yours: Color, prisms, etc.

As an alternate possibility, don't permanently mount the projector on
the ceiling -- that way you could either physically tilt it or simply
mirror the projector's image to show on the ceiling for when you want
to work while lying down.
