  No, the new iGrip firmware does not solve the problem of the CapsLock key, &lt;br&gt; among others, not sending a scancode to the host computer.   Same here. I&#39;ve used it under a couple of Linux distros. The Atom &lt;br&gt; processor shouldn&#39;t be a big deal. Its faster than most of the &lt;br&gt; computers I was running Linux on. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;If you&#39;re using it on a netbook, I would interested in hearing how &lt;br&gt; well it works in that combination from a portability and storage point

  Anyone out there know if it&#39;s possible to update the AlphaGrip&#39;s firmware? &lt;br&gt; I&#39;d love to gain access to the newer version&#39;s handling of the trackball &lt;br&gt; (booster and acceleration), but could find no way to do this from their web &lt;br&gt; site. Also, from my reading of this, it would allow me to escape the &lt;br&gt; irritating mess with it makes with my dual monitor setup.
