Hello all --

I'm in the process of learning Korean, and as such installed the
Korean IME on my WinXP box. I'm also a Japanese translator by trade,
so I've got that IME too. Windows has (limited) keyboard shortcut
options to allow for switching between language input, which mostly
consist of hitting LeftAlt+Shift+(some number key). But I couldn't
get the combos to work with my AlphaGrip. Googling about, it sounds
like the regular Alt/Opt key on the Grip is output as a standard
LeftAlt keypress. Other online info suggests that all keys *except*
the red and green Shifts should output as standard key press and
release events.

I eventually figured out that, instead of hitting Alt+Shift+(number),
I instead have to hit Alt+(whatever is usually over that number on a
flat keyboard). So to select my second language input method, on a
flat keyboard I'd hit LeftAlt+Shift+2, but on the Grip, I'd hit Alt
+RedShift+@. I hope this helps anyone else stuck in a similar
situation.

And now I'm struggling to figure out how to input a RightAlt keypress
using my Grip, as this is the (stupidly non-configurable) keypress
that's required by the Korean IME to toggle between Hangul and Latin
letters. RightCtrl would also be useful. Any hints on how to do this
would be greatly appreciated.

고맙습니다 (komapsumnida, thanks)

you may want to look into using autohotkey for software remapping. see
