Ha decir verdad no me gusta la idea de perder símbolos con tal de
tener mis preciados acentos, por lo que la solución de re-mapear no es
llamativa. Haciendo una búsqueda logré lo que a continuación adjunto.

To tell the truth I don't like the idea of loosing symbols to gain
back my beloved accent marks, so remmaping is not the solution. So I
went out there looking for something else and found this:


En OS-X basta con seleccionar el teclado Estadounidense y utilizar
estos atajos.

In OS-X you just need to select the EEUU keyboard layout and use these
shortcut

¡ = Red Shift + Alt/Opt + t
¿= Green Shift + Alt/Opt + n
ñ = Alt/Opt + n -- n
á = Alt/Opt + e -- a
é = Alt/Opt + e -- e
í = Alt/Opt + e -- i
ó = Alt/Opt + e -- o
ú = Alt/Opt + e -- u
ü = Alt/Opt + u -- u
Á = Alt/Opt + e -- A
É = Alt/Opt + e -- E
Í = Alt/Opt + e -- I
Ó = Alt/Opt + e -- O
Ú = Alt/Opt + e -- U
Ü = Alt/Opt + u -- U

En MS Windows basta con seleccionar el teclado Inglés Estadounidense
Internacional

No he tenido tiempo para probar en GNU/Linux... así que también está
pendiente :-P
