Trees like all plants are a symbol of a simpler and older world, which many of us have abandoned. As we realise that uncertainty still exists while we move further and further away from the old teachings, it might be wise to look back. Even with what we humans consider is great knowledge, we can learn a great deal from those living beings that have survived much and endured long. All of this manifest in the way they have been formed, adapted and are still here today.

We can be human and a part of the whole, not apart from the whole. Become artists and artisans with trees and all plants. We can create landscapes and habitat with ever more animation, in the form of animals and birds appearing as they develop. This living canvas which is congenial, simpler, kinder to ourselves our neighbours and our host, the planet upon which we tread and upon which we rely upon for life itself will then flourish. A healthy host to which we should and do introduce our children in the first instance; at the moment of birth.
