Howto correctly select file

hello Matt / allosoft,

Is it true, that when i select a file, it will only play that file?
Because when I select a single file, it won't play the next file in
the album when I press next..
Do I really need to press the + button and select play this now?

Yep, that's how it works. Signal uses a queue model allowing you to create a playlist using any combination of items in your media library. The documentation includes details about how library access works:

Hi matt,

I see, that's a pretty good way to start music. Many servers works this
way. Altough I think the ipod way is way more intuitive..

I, personally, am delighted that Signal doesn't stick some random
selected track after having played the one i selected, like Apple
Remote/iTunes does.
Sometimes I want to hear one track, sometimes an album, sometimes a
playlist/queue/iTune DJ set.
I would like it if the queue in Signal didn't vanish when I hit the
rewind button one too many times.

Thanks! I often play single songs myself so it's a capability I would also like to keep.

What media player is clearing the queue when pressing the previous button? Signal's behavior should be identical to the media player's as it just passes the button presses through.
