Migrating content from Sakai to Alfresco?

Hi all:

We have a large number of project sites in our Sakai (http://www.sakaiproject.org) instance that we are considering moving over to Alfresco. It'd be several thousand sites. It seems like it should be a fairly doable thing--the feature sets are reasonably similar (File Sharing, Wiki, etc.)

I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this before. If so, any pointers, tips, write-ups, etc. would be very much appreciated.
