G'day Yassin,

Alfresco can manage any type of file.  To upload it programmatically, you should use the CMIS [1] API.  The Apache Chemistry project [2] provides client libraries for a number of popular programming languages (including Java), although not one for Javascript.  A quick google search turned up a number of other CMIS Javascript libraries though:
