I've called and emailed the Joe Miller for Senate campaign
headquarters and have contacted you directly. I've received no
response.

Media outlets are contacting me to inquire where the militia stands
with respect to Joe Miller.

Please provide a written statement on the following issues:

1. Where does Joe Miller stand on the Second Amendment and the
individual's right to keep and bear arms?

2. Where does he stand with regard to the right of private citizens to form
an armed citizens militia totally outside the organizational structure
of the federal or state central government?

3. Where does he stand with regard to state nullification?

Please respond to these questions

I would like to request that Mr. Miller put his commitments in writing just the same. If he declares his standing for himself and puts in writing, I believe I would be more inclined to give him my vote. As President Reagan once said, "Trust, but Verify".
I trust your judgment, Norm. I just believe Mr. Miller should say it in his own words. Then there is no room for denial.

I speak only for myself in supporting Joe Miller. But don't support him
just because I do. I was asked to comment on how the militia
felt about Joe Miller. I couldn't answer that because I won't speak for
someone else.

Every INDIVIDUAL needs to be fully persuaded in his/her own
mind.

If anyone on the forum would like to follow up on this,
please contact ra...@joemiller.com (Joe Miller's Press Secretary)

Thank you for info. I have his site up and taking a look, I agree that he is a good choice for me.
My concern: when I have the list of candidates that I personally selected and go in to vote, how can I be allowed to vote precisely for my selected candidates? Can I insist on receiving EVERY available ballot. If not, can I make out my own ballot of my choices and legally submit? How can I be sure I will get to vote the way my conscious dictates and that it will be counted? I have never been so concerned with the voting process until I began to realize officials may be selecting and discarding as they choose in order to benefit liberal agendas.

Joe Miller is an strong Constitution following patriot, he does not
play games. Joe has answered every question asked without pulling any
punches and some hard questions have been asked. It saddens me to see
some toss the man under the bus without even reading his public
statements and public radio and TV interviews answering the very
questions asked. If you want real change in government then support
those that are trying to make it happen or get out there and try to
effect change yourself, do not belittle a man that has fought a damn
hard fight against an already paid off Senator (Lisa) that has shown
she is a TRAITOR. Time to stop mincing words and call it as it is.
Innocent until proven guilty, you know that applies here too. When you
look at someone as already guilty , you will find a way to make him
guilty, if you toss him under the bus right off, you will find
something to make sure and keep him under it.

The amount of time spent typing some of the responses here is all
your needed to know where the man stands.

He fought hard for this nation in a war that seemed a real lawful war
defending our ally Kuwait from invasion, and he EARNED a Bronze Star
in that war, give the man more respect and a chance to do what is
right, if he is to do wrong , let him do the wrong and THEN judge him.

NOTE - It is a crime ALREADY for those in office when they lie, and
if they go to far it DOES involve death when found guilty of treason
or high treason. The problem is law enforcement is just as corrupt as
the federal government, and if you do not think so, I have a bridge
crossing cook inlet I want to sell you for a great price.

The Oath taken before entering office is not a feel good oath, it
carried a penalty when broken that involves JAIL TIME, up to two
years, same penalty for lieing under oath in court, but lieing to the
FBI is NOT A CRIME ( unless you agree to be under oath, which means to
sign on to the penalty), and Martha Stewarts Lawyers knew that, why
did they let her go to jail ??? Think about that.

If we want to make sure Joe Miller keeps on the straight and narrow,
WE, ALL OF US, have to make damn sure he and his entire family are
safe and sound, because that is a common way to get at a man go for
the soft spot family.

The General Election should have just one ballot with everyone on it,
but just one candidate for each office from each party.

You'll have your choice of perhaps 4 or 5 candidates for Governor.

Over the last several months I have been politically active in my run for State House.  I first met Joe Miller at a small meeting at Fred Struman’s building in Soldotna.  (where the militia has met) He was asked tough questions. I told him, I wished he had run for an elected state position.  We need leaders here to stand against the feds. I asked him how he was going to change Washington D.C. He believes there is going to be a large change in Senators in November. He also believes change will occur with the new group of Senators.

I have been in three parades this summer. In two of those parades, Joe miller was in position just in front of my wife and I. Faith and I have met and spoken to his father and wife.  His father is a retired farmer from the lower 48. No arrogance, just like the rest of us. His wife is the mother of their 8 children 4 boys and 4 girls.  Our wife’s seemed comfortable talking to each other.

I believe Joe Miller is sincere and courageous individual. Unfortunately I also think he is naive in believing change can come to Washington.

Perhaps I am wrong, if we stood with him against the corruption. No individual can change things if he stands alone.  (see my last post) Joe has the courage to take the hits of name calling, do we?

Ray

He more than likely will be listed on the Republican Ballot again, so your gonna have to choose that Ballot over what they call the the ID? Ballot, so you might have to sacrafice some of your other choices for Joe.

Yeah. See that's the thing: why should any voter sacrifice due to political bs? I should be able to walk in. Make my choices in each category without regard for whether or not there is a candidate that I must choose to neglect for the sake of another. We should be replacing ALL WHO ARE NOT DOING THEIR Job.
Anyway, I want to make my list before I get to the precinct and insist on my choices.

Comments on the Clarion article regarding the hospital include the nomination of Ray Southwell
as the CEO of the hospital.   The public would vote on seating a new hospital board after dismissing
Ryan Smith and the other cronies.

I second that nomination.
