US Murders: How Bad Is It And Who Does It

In over 52% of the murders in the US in 2011 in which the race of the
murderer was known, the murderer was black. Over half of the victims of
murder were also black. But blacks are only 13.6% of the population. Put
all that together, and the murder rate in the US for non-blacks was more
like 2.6 per 100,000 in 2011.
As Peter Baldwin put it in his book, The Narcissism of Minor
Differences, 'Take out the black underclass from the statistics, and
even American murder rates fall to European levels.'
A rate of 2.6 would put us below the Southern European countries of
Albania (4.0) and Montenegro (3.5), and in the neighborhood of the
Western European countries of Liechtenstein (2.8) and Luxembourg (2.5).

Today I wasted nearly an hour reading a rather lengthy article
complaining about the fact that blacks now comprise 70% of the prison
population.
The article spoke about how blacks are marginalized in our society as
well as slavery, the civil war and Jim Crow laws. It noted that decades
ago blacks were only 50% of the prison population. Bear in mind that
even then, blacks were only 12% of the US population.
Nowhere in the article did it note that blacks commit the vast majority
of violent crimes or that the character of the crimes they commit tend
to be repetitive, senseless and excessive, thus meriting stiffer
sentences than those handed out to white criminals.
Likewise the thug culture, street gangs and the effects of hip-hop music
and Hollywood where violence is gloried went unmentioned.
I seriously wondered what the author wanted. Should we let black
murderers go free? Or perhaps when a black is sentenced for a serious
crime, round up a half dozen innocent whites and sentence them to life
behind bars just to create racial balance in the prison system.
I realize that now-a-days it's popular for blacks to blame all their
woes on racism and the so-called white oligarchy. The truth is, nowhere
on Earth will blacks find life better than they have here, not even in
Africa. And they know it too, or they would?ve voted with their feet.
More US blacks than ever have broken out of the ghetto and they did it
not through Democrat handouts or even Affirmative Action. They did it
the same way whites and Asians do: Stay in school, stay out of trouble,
get the best job you can and never stop trying to improve yourself and
your standard of living.
The ugly and thus unpopular truth is that too many blacks have fallen
for the lie
that they can't do for themselves as well as the pop-culture lie that
the only way to get ahead is to join a gang and then try to be the
meanest, most fearsome thug in the hood. Then when that lifestyle sends
them to prison or the morgue, it's whitey's fault.
Whatever problems blacks have or think they have, they alone have to
power to change it. Change begins from within and making excuses and
looking for scapegoats solves nothing.
