her McCullers Center reading on Monday, May 13th. The reading will begin at
7:30 at the McCullers Center at 1519 Stark Avenue, Columbus, GA. The reading

About Susanna Lang Susanna Lang was born in New York and raised in
collegetowns where her father taught in Kansas, Michigan and Connecticut.
She now lives with her husband and son in Chicago, where she is a literacy
coach in the Chicago Public Schools. In addition to teaching public school
teachers and early adolescents, she offers poetry workshops in public
libraries throughout the Chicago metropolitan region. Her first collection
of poems, Even Now, was published in 2008 by The Backwaters Press. A
chapbook from Finishing Line Press, Two by Two, was released in October
2011. She has published original poems and essays, and translations from the
French, in such journals as Little Star, New Letters, The Sow's Ear Poetry
Review, The Green Mountains Review, The Baltimore Review, Kalliope, Southern
Poetry Review, World Literature Today, Chicago Review, New Directions, and
Jubilat. She won a 1999 Illinois Arts Council Award for a poem published in
The Spoon River Poetry Review. Book publications include translations of
Words in Stone and The Origin of Language, both by Yves Bonnefoy. Her book,
Tracing the Lines, was a finalist for the 2011 Brick Road Poetry Award and
has recently been published by Brick Road Poetry Press.
