January one-hour postal swim

swim to be held in Anchorage in January. This means that there will
be two one-hour swims, each of which will accommodate 8 swimmers.
The first opportunity will be on January 9 at the APU pool after
SWAM's regular practice ends at 9:30. There will be a short warm-up
period with the postal swim beginning no later than 9:45.
The second opportunity is January 9th starting about 11:00 after the
first group of swimmers finishes.

You must be registered with US Masters. A copy of your card must
accompany your entry.
You must have a verifier to count laps and record splits every 50
yards. A split sheet must be completed for each swimmer. The
verifier must be able to use and read a stop watch and write so that
splits are legible. Stop watches will be provided.
The cost will be the $7.00 entry fee for individual entries ($18 for
relays) plus $7 to $10 per swimmer to cover the cost of the pool
(depends on the number of swimmers). T-shirts are available for
$17-20 and caps for $6. See the entry form for how to complete your
entry and order t-shirts and caps. Payment for the pool is separate
from the event entry fee.
Let me know if you plan to participate. Eight swimmers can be
allocated to each time slot so please let me know which time you
prefer. If you do not state a preference, you will be assigned to
whichever time has space available after those with a preference have
been accommodated.
