I'm glad to see that there are at least 6 Dylos laser particle
counters / Arduinos now posting to Pachube (Cosm).

I did notice that we are all using different Feed descriptions, Unit
descriptions, and keywords.

How about standardizing on some names?

It would also be great if people could post the raw count data and
specify the formulas that they are using to approximate micrograms/m^3
(we should standardize on this too?)

I'm not sure which particle counter the egg is going to have as an
option (dylos, grove, sharp,...), but it would be great if we could
standardize some things before there are 1000's of eggs out there :-)

Yes, this sounds like a great idea.

César and Sara were discussing metadata structure earlier; is there already some documentation on initial thoughts? Should we start a wiki page and gradually refine it?

It could contain:
- brief context (importance of metadata)
- examples of good metadata practices we can learn from
- types of annotations we're interested in
- proposals for metadata/machine tag formats

We will release some manuals in Spanish this weekend including some basic tagging instructions.

We will translate and upload that section to the wiki and send you the link.

Some people specialized in data tagging have been invited to next Tuesday event so I hope this topic will be discussed further.

Best,
Cesar
